(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) The Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Sioux Lookout resident for stealing from the Sioux Lookout Minor Hockey Association.
As a result of a complaint received in November of this year, police launched an investigation into theft of money from the arena canteen.
The investigation resulted in a 17 year old Sioux Lookout resident being charged with theft under $5000, break and enter, and breach of probation.
The accused was later released from custody and will appear in Sioux Lookout youth court on January 20, 2015.
The name of the accused cannot be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
