$16,000 In Snow Vehicles Stolen

(Gravenhurst, ON) –Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a theft of a tandem axel trailer that contained two Skidoo snow vehicles from an address on Crawford Road in Gravenhurst. The stolen snow vehicles were both 2013 GSX Skidoos, black in colour with red, black and white graphics valued at $8000.00 each.

Bracebridge OPP responded to several reports of stolen snow vehicles during the 2013/2014 winter season and notably, at times, chains and cables are simply not enough to secure the vehicles and/or trailers. Additional security measures need to be applied to deter potential thieves such as trailer tongue and wheel locks being utilized along with outside security lighting on buildings.
