160 White Spruce Trees Stolen

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of 160 white spruce evergreen trees stolen from a farm property located on McDonald Line near Browntown Road. The trees had been recently planted to act as a windbreak. The trees were stolen sometime overnight on May 22, 2013. The trees were approximately 3 feet tall and were planted with a ball and burlap” root system. There trees are valued at $3600.
