16 Year Old Injured Skateboarding Airlifted To Hospital

On Sunday November 30, 2014 at approximately 9:39 p.m., a 16 year old Cambridge youth sustained a serious head injury during a skate boarding accident in the Grand Ave. South area of Cambridge. The male was transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital via ambulance and later air-lifted to McMaster Hospital in Hamilton. His medical condition at this time remains unknown. Waterloo Regional Police would like to remind members of the public to utilize appropriate safety equipment and precautions when engaging in sporting or recreational activities to reduce the risk of injury.
