(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar patrol on Sherbrooke Street West just before noon yesterday. A vehicle was measured at 117km/h in the posted 50km/h zone directly in front of Crestwood Secondary School.
A 16 year old male youth of Peterborough, ON is charged with stunt driving, his licence suspended for 7 days and will appear in court on March 09, 2015. The accused’s 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer was towed from the scene and impounded.
