(IROQUOIS FALLS) The Iroquois Falls Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a local youth with a criminal code charge stemming from a dispute which occurred yesterday (26 AUG) at the Jus Jordan Arena in Iroquois Falls.
The investigation is based on a complaint received by detachment officers and accounts of the event provided by witnesses.
OPP officers have completed their investigation and as a result, a 14 year old male youth, who cannot be identified, has been charged with one count of Assault contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The youth has been turned over to the custody of his parents but must attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on October 7th to answer to the charge laid against him.
