(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On March 14th, 2016 at approximately 5:00 p.m. members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on a residence on Mosley Street between 7th Street and 15th Street.
As a result of this search warrant 4 individuals were arrested and charged with drug related offences and a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana and cash were seized.
Charged with “Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking” and “Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – under $5000” are Austin BARYSAS 21 years old and Jessie HENDRY 25 years old both from Wasaga Beach. Also charged with “Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana” and two counts of “Fail to Comply with Probation Order” is Daniel J. DIFRANCESCO 27 years old from Wasaga Beach. First appearance for all three above is April 19th, 2016 in Collingwood court.
OPP have further charged a 14 year old female from Collingwood, Ontario with “Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana”. This accused first appearance is May 5th, 2016 in Collingwood court.
