(MCMURRICH/MONTEITH, ON) The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call on Saturday January 3, 2015 in the Township of McMurrich/Monteith. OPP was called to a fight at a residence when they discovered approximately 14 marihuana plants growing in the residence. Police arrested and charged a male, Jason NIDDERY, 29 of McMurrich/Monteith with producing a controlled substance, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge, Ontario on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
