(MINDEN, ON) -The Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a serious boating incident that occurred on Clement Lake in Highlands East, in Haliburton County. The incident occurred in the afternoon of the 16th of August 2017 shortly before 4:00 p.m.
As a result of this incident a thirteen year old male from Port Colborne, Ontario was flown to a Toronto Area Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Sadly the Haliburton Highlands Detachment has been notified that the 13 year old male from Port Colborne, Ontario, has succumbed to his injuries.
