(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On September 7, 2017, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in response to a report of an injured male. The 13-year old victim was transported to hospital via ambulance where he was treated and released.
A 52-year old Georgian Bluffs woman has been charged with Attempt Murder and Assault with a Weapon.
A bail hearing was scheduled for October 4, 2017. Her next court appearance is scheduled for November 9, 2017 in Owen Sound.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Grey County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU).
There is no threat to public safety.
