(ESSA, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault call involving a 13 and 10 year old male on May 30, 2015 on Huron Street in the Township of Essa.
The thirteen year old male confronted the ten year old male threatening bodily harm and then used a knife in a mischief to the victim’s bike tire.
The suspect male was located a short time later by Nottawasaga OPP and arrested.
The 13 year old male is an Borden, ON resident and cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He is charged with:
Assault with a weapon
Uttering threats to cause bodily harm
Mischief under $5000.
The youth was release on a promise to appear in court with a court date of July 7, 2015.
