(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On Tuesday, June 15, 2015 at approximately 9:45 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence on London Crescent in Elliot Lake in regards to a family dispute.
Police spoke with the complainant and through investigation a thirteen year old youth was arrested and charged with the following:
Assault with a Weapon as per s. 267(a) of the Criminal Code (two counts)
Fail to Comply with an Undertaking as per s. 145(5.1.) of the Criminal Code
Utter threats to Cause Bodily Harm as per s. 264.1(1) (a) of the Criminal Code
The accused is scheduled for a Bail Hearing in Sault Ste Marie on June 16, 2015,
The name of the youth will not be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
