(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On July 6, 2015 at approximately 6:42 a.m. the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter to a locked residential garage in the 100 block of Jameson Street.
Culprits attended the property the morning of July 6, 2015. Once on the property, they accessed the garage, and stole a white and black golf cart.
Officers commenced an investigation, and later in the morning located the golf cart being operated on West Park Drive.
A vehicle stop was initiated, and a 13 year old male and a 15 year old female, both from North Middlesex, Ontario were arrested.
As a result of the police investigation, the accused persons have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, and mischief under $5000, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The female was additionally charged with fail to comply with sentence, contrary to the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
They were released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and are scheduled to answer to the charges in a London, Ontario, court.
