(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of Bruce Peninsula OPP, and the West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a Dyers Bay address in the Municipality of North Bruce Peninsula.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cannabis marihuana bud, and cannabis resin (liquid), along with offence related property that consisted of cash.
The combined estimated street value of the seized controlled substances was $129,000.00.
The value of the offence related property was $660.00.
Leroy DIRCKX is charged with possession of cannabis marihuana for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis resin, production of cannabis marihuana, and mischief under $5,000.00:
He was released from custody on a Promise to Appear for an Owen Sound court date on November 27, 2014.
An arrest warrant is being sought for another male who will be charged with the same offences listed above.
