(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Thursday, January 12, 2017, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit and the West Region Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on McDowell Street, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, and the investigation, police seized hydromorphone pills, oxycodone pills, cannabis resin, and cannabis marihuana. The estimated combined value of the seized controlled substances was $1,260.00. Police also seized offence-related property that consisted of trafficking paraphernalia.
John William O’DONNELL (54 years) of Dundalk is charged with 2 counts of trafficking oxycodone pills, possession of hydromorphone for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis resin and possession of cannabis marihuana.
Brenda Elaine O’DONNELL (53 years) of Dundalk is charged with trafficking oxycodone, trafficking hydromorphone, possession of hydromorphone for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cannabis resin, and possession of cannabis marihuana.
They are both scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 16, 2017.
