In May of 2013 the Guelph Police Drug Enforcement Unit commenced an investigation related to a group of people who were trafficking cocaine in the City of Guelph.
On September 24, 2013, Guelph Police Drug and Intelligence Units, along with the Guelph Police and Waterloo Regional Police Tactics and Rescue Units, executed CDSA search warrants at four residences within Guelph. A fifth warrant was also executed by the Guelph Police and Wellington County O.P.P. at a residence in Fergus.
As a result of this investigation, four adult males and one adult female, all of Guelph, were arrested and charged with multiple drug related offences.
One of the males was also charged with aggravated assault in relation to an incident that occurred on September 6th, 2013 in a licensed establishment in downtown Guelph.
All of the accused persons have been held in custody pending bail hearings.

The following items were seized through the course of this investigation:
Drugs
Over 27 grams of marihuana, over 13 grams of hashish, 8 vials of hashish oil, 179 Oxycontin pills, 100 Hydromorph Contin 30mg pills, 297 Dilaudid 8mg pills, 360 Oxy 40’s, 908 Oxy 5mg, 50 Oxy 100’s, 94 Oxy 80’s and over 730 grams of cocaine.
Total approximate dollar value – over $105,000
Weapons
3 shotguns, 1 cross bow, 1 stun gun, 1 replica AR 15 and 1 replica 357.
Total value of property seized is approximately $31,000.
Cash
A large quantity of cash was seized.
