(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Norfolk County Road 28, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, July 7, 2016 at approximately 1:28 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned resident reporting a theft.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the early morning hours; unknowns attended the address and removed approximately 50 sheets of metal from the property.
The theft is estimated at approximately $10,000 dollars.
The investigation is continuing and police are seeking the assistance of the public. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
