(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police, Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a theft from a Basswood Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, November 16, 2015 at approximately 8:45 a.m., police received a call from a concerned member of the public reporting a theft.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that between August 27, 2015 and Monday, November 16, 2015, unknowns attended the address and removed approximately $10,000 dollars in lumber.
The lumber that was removed from the address was to be used to add an additional second floor of a home that is currently being built.
Police are continuing to investigate and are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
