Members of the Uniform Operations Division conducted RIDE within the City. Officers stopped approximately 100 vehicles, conducting roadside breath screening of 12 drivers.
As a result one driver failed the roadside breath testing device and was arrested for Driving Over 80mgs. During the arrest a small quantity of cannabis was located on his person.
After providing further samples of breath at the station, the 63 year old Barrie male was released with a January court date, charged with Over 80mgs and Possession of a Controlled substance.
