In the early morning hours of August 2nd, 2014, the Guelph Police Service officers responded to a call for service at a residence west of downtown Guelph. Upon arrival, police discovered a 56 year old woman deceased within the residence. Police do not believe the circumstances of her passing are in any way criminal.
