Teens Arrested For Armed Robbery At Jewelry Store

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team have arrested two youths in connection to a robbery that occurred January 8, 2024, at a jewellery store in Fairview Park.

On February 23, 2024, a 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with:

  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Disguise with intent

The male was held for a bail hearing.

On April 4, 2024, a 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with:

  • Robbery with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Disguise with intent
  • Failure to comply with sentence or disposition
  • Fail to comply with judicial release (three counts)

The male was held for a bail hearing.

Two unknown suspects remain outstanding and the investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Robbery Team.

Waterloo Region, Ontario – The Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Robbery Team, along with the Forensic Identification Unit, have identified a 16-year-old male suspect in relation to a robbery that occurred January 8, 2024, at a jewellery store in Fairview Park.

The youth, who is from the Greater Toronto Area, is currently in custody in Toronto on other unrelated charges. A warrant has been issued to have the youth returned to Waterloo Region to be charged with Robbery with a Weapon and Disguise with Intent. 

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Robbery Team.
