Seaforth Drug Bust – Names Released

(HURON EAST, ON) – Four Huron East residents are facing drug trafficking & possession charges following a recent investigation conducted by members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). 

On Friday, December 10, 2021, members from the Huron County OPP Crime Unit, Huron-Perth, Oxford-Brant & Elgin-Middlesex OPP Community Street Crimes Units (CSCU) and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a residence located on Sills Street in Seaforth. 

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized quantities of suspected Methamphetamine, Fentanyl and Cocaine. The estimated value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $15,780. 

In addition to the seized controlled substances, police also seized cell phones, drug trafficking materials and cash.  

Danielle LAPLANTE, 61 years of age, from Seaforth has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

Daryn JORNA, 26 years of age, from Seaforth has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

Trent CALDWELL, 55 years of age from Seaforth has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

Amanda KILBOURN, 31 years of age, from Huron East has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Fentanyl for the Purposes of Trafficking, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.

All accused have since been released from custody with court dates scheduled for February 7, 2022 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
