Robert PELLETIER – Drunk Driving

(LAMBTON, ON) – A driver was arrested for impaired operation after a traffic stop was conducted for speeding.

On July 5, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., a member of Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on London Line in the City of Sarnia after a vehicle was observed speeding.

After speaking with the driver, they were taken into custody without incident and transported to Lambton OPP Corunna detachment for further testing. As a result of the investigation, Robert PELLETIER, 36-year-old from Sarnia, was charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired-Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Speeding- 1-49Km/h over posted speed limit

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 7, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.
