Repeat Offender Arrested In Hanover

On Friday, April 17^th, 2026, members of the Hanover Police Service while on patrol observed a 35-year-old man of no fixed address hanging around a residence he was on conditions not to attend. The man was told that he was under arrest, and he began to actively resist officers’ efforts to take him into custody. The man was eventually arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Failure to Comply with a Release Order, Breaching his Probation and Resisting Arrest. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Walkerton.
