(Ottawa) — A member of the Ottawa Police Service has been charged with several offences in relation to an off-duty collision that occurred on March 17. There were no injuries in the two-vehicle collision.
Cst. Cory Chuchryk has been charged with:
- Impaired operations Sec 320.14 CC
- Failure to stop after accident Sec. 320.16 CC
- Dangerous driving Sec. 320.13 CC
He was released on an undertaking with a first appearance scheduled for May 7, 2024.
He has been placed on administrative duties.
