(EAST GWILLIMBURY, ON) – Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Highway Safety Division (HSD) – Aurora Detachment investigated a single-vehicle collision that resulted in one fatality.
On Monday June 17, 2024 at 7:21 p.m., the OPP were called to a collision on Highway 404 northbound, north of Queensville Sideroad in East Gwillimbury, Ontario.
A vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 404, north of Queensville Sideroad, it veered off the highway and subsequently rolled over. As a result of the collision, the sole occupant, a 19-year-old male from Keswick, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP-HSD Traffic Support Unit are assisting with the investigation. Highway 404 northbound at Queensville Sideroad was closed for approximately 6 hours for the collision investigation.
