Michael HALL Was Arrested

(Drummond-North Elmsley, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Drummond-North Elmsley resident with impaired driving after a single vehicle collision.

Lanark officers responded June 14, 2024, shortly after 8:00 p.m. to the scene on Churchill Road where a pick-up truck had gone into the ditch. Officers conducted a roadside test with an Approved Screening Device.

The driver was then arrested and transported the Lanark Detachment for further testing.

As a result of the investigation, Michael HALL, age 36, has been charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on July 8, 2024. The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension) and vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
