(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – On April 26 2021, just after 10:00 p.m., the Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the Wellington County CSCU conducted a traffic stop on Sixth Line, Guelph-Eramosa Township in Wellington County, after a drug trafficking investigation. The two occupants of the vehicle were found in possession of Methamphetamine and Hydromorphone, as well as a number of memorial plaques, which were later determined to be stolen. The total estimated value of the drugs is approximately $1,800.
As a result, Kevin HARPER, 28, of Grand Valley, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Also, Shandy-Lee GIBSON, 33, of Palmerston, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Other Drugs
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
The accused parties were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
