(Adelaide-Metcalfe, ON) – On June 11, 2021 at 5:07 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a possible impaired driver, travelling eastbound on Highway 402, in Lambton County.
Middlesex OPP observed for and located the vehicle at Centre Road and Highway 402, at which point a traffic stop was conducted.
As a result, Jonathan HICKEY, a 37-year-old of Bradford, ON has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – Alcohol, section 320.14(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand, section 320.15(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on August 20, 2021 to speak to the charges.
