(Southwold, ON) – On Sunday January 24th, 2021 at approximately 9:41am Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint in Sheddon, ON. The report indicated that a person appeared to be sleeping in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle.
Police attended the scene and as a result of the investigation have charged Gabriella PARADIS, age 23 of Walpole Island First Nation, ON with;
- Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code. (two counts)
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance (Methamphetamine) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Section
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance (Heroin) contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Section
PARADIS was released by way of a Form 10 (Appearance Notice) with a future court date of February 23rd 2021.
