Dakota STEPHENS – Drunk Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual is facing charges following an investigation into an incident of impaired driving in Waterford.

At approximately 2:02 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2024, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a single-vehicle collision on Duncombe Road in Waterford, Norfolk County. No injuries were reported.

After assessing the driver’s sobriety at the roadside, they were taken into custody without incident.

Charged with the following alleged offences is 29-year-old Dakota STEPHENS of Norfolk County:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs,
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
• Careless driving.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
