Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of residential break‑and‑enters in Cambridge.
On April 18, 2026, at approximately 8:50 a.m., officers responded to the North Galt area of Cambridge for multiple reports of residential break‑and‑enters.
In one instance, a male suspect robbed a victim of their wallet and attempted to steal their car on Moscrip Road. The suspect then fled the area and broke into several residences in the area of Moscrip Road, Mercer Road, and Norfolk Avenue.
Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break and Enter, Vehicle Theft, and Robbery Unit (BEAR) are currently investigating four connected residential break‑and‑enter incidents.
BEAR investigators would like to locate and speak with Cengiz Gaudin, 36, in relation to these incidents.
Mr. Gaudin is described as White, 5’7” tall, approximately 230 pounds, with a shaved head and a beard. He has tattoos on his face, hands, and arms.
