(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On May 11, 2022 at approximately 10:20 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on general patrol, performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on Parkhill Main Street, North Middlesex township.
As a result, Brandon BURCH, a 27-year-old of Strathroy, has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Driving while under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London to speak to the charges at a later date.
The Middlesex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
