Stolen Truck Recovered – Do You Recognize These People?

(LAKESHORE, ON) – On Thursday, August 19, 2021, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) continue their investigation into a theft of a motor vehicle and theft of fuel from addresses in the Municipality of Lakeshore.

The stolen pickup truck has since been recovered in the City of Windsor. 

Photos have been obtained of two persons of interests. It is the belief of investigators that the male dressed in black, wearing a black Air Jordan baseball cap and black and grey baseball gloves, was operating the stolen pickup truck.

A second male arrived at the gas station at the same time in separate black vehicle and may have been travelling with the suspect. The second male is described as bald and wearing a black shirt and shorts.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals.

On Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at approximately 03:20 a.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Lakeshore Detachment received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from a residence on Oriole Park Drive in the Town of Lakeshore.

The investigation determined, a grey 2009 Ford F-150 crew cab pickup truck was stolen from the homeowner’s driveway. The stolen vehicle has a lot of rust around the rear wheel wells.

At approximately 03:57 a.m. officers learned a suspect filled up the stolen vehicle in Comber and fled the gas station after failing to pay for $10.60 in gasoline.
