Snowmobile & Trailers Stolen

(PERTH COUNTY, ON) – Since November, a number of items have been stolen from properties in Perth County, including trailers and a snowmobile taken during a break and enter.

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating three stolen property incidents, dating back to November 2021. On November 18 2021, police were contacted about a break and enter to a shop at a residential property on Perth Line 44, in the Municipality of West Perth. The investigation revealed that a red 2002 Yamaha SXV Viper snowmobile had been stolen from the shop. The snowmobile is valued at approximately $6000 and is still outstanding.

On December 6 2021, Perth County OPP received another report of a stolen item, this time a trailer from a business on Rocher Road, in Listowel. The white 2021 Weber Lane 6×12 trailer was taken when the suspect hooked it up to a Ford F150 pick-up truck and drove away. The trailer is valued over $8000 and is still outstanding.

On December 27 2021, Perth County OPP received another report of a theft of a trailer, which occurred on December 25, at a property on Perth Road 121, in the Township of Perth East. The suspect entered the property in a Ford F150 pick-up truck, and stole an aluminum 2016 Weber Lane 10×6 trailer. The trailer is valued at approximately $4000 and is still outstanding.
