(NORTH PERTH, ON) – One person is facing charges after a report of multiple historical domestic incidents in North Perth.
On July 16, 2021, just after 3:00 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a report of a domestic occurrence in Listowel. During the investigation, it was learned that one person had been assaulted on two occasions, and sexually assaulted.
As a result, a 61-year-old resident of Brampton was arrested and charged with:
– Assault (two counts)
– Forcible Confinement
– Sexual Assault with a Weapon
– Assault with a Weapon
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
