(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Huron East resident with Uttering Threats following an incident that took place recently in Huron East between two hunters.
On February 21, 2022 at approximately 11:24 a.m., Huron County OPP officers were contacted by a hunter that was out hunting coyotes on Beechwood Line. The hunter reported he had an interaction with another hunter that had just threatened him and his hunting dogs.
Shortly thereafter officers were able to locate and arrest the accused without incident.
Murray KERR, 76 years of age from Huron East has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death and Uttering Threats – Danger or Injure an Animal. The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for April 4, 2022 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
