(NORTH PERTH, ON) – On September 12, 2021, just after 2:00 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifter at a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel.
A Loss Prevention Officer observed an individual attempting to take items from the business without purchasing. All items were recovered.
As a result, Carolyn DEN TOOM, 37, of Listowel has been charged with:
- Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
The accused in this matter was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
