(WEST PERTH, ON) – Two people are facing charges after a collision in the Municipality of West Perth.
On December 31 2020, just before 5:30 a.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a suspicious vehicle that had crashed in the ditch on Line 20, near Road 163, in the Municipality of West Perth. When police arrived on scene, two people were located walking away from the scene. The vehicle was determined to be stolen from Waterloo Region, and the two suspects were arrested.
As a result, Nickolas KERR, 42, of Stratford, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Also, Holly LEONARD, 28, of Stratford, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
The accused parties were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
