(PERTH EAST, ON) – On July 12, 2022, after 10:00 a.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Perth Line 44 in the Township of Perth East.
During the investigation, it was determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device was used, and they were arrested, and transported to a local operations center for further testing. No injuries were reported.
Thanh DANH, 32, of Kitchener, has been charged with:
– Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and a 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges. The accused was issued two Provincial Offence Notices for the other two charges.
