(BRANT TWP, ON) – On July 26, 2021 at 5:31 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 9 and Bruce County Road 3 in Brant Township. Officers responded with members of the Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find 2 vehicles were involved.
The police investigation revealed that one of the vehicles was south bound on Bruce County Road 3 and the other was west bound on Highway 9.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 66-year-old resident of Halton Region, was charged with Fail to Yield right-of-way.
Three people were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
