(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On September 9, 2022, at 8:50 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single motor vehicle collision along Highway 21 in Kincardine Township.
Officers responded with members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find a pick-up truck and a bicycle were involved in the collision.
The cyclist was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
Highway 21 is closed between Concession 7 and Concession 9 for the protection of emergency responders.
The investigation is in its early stages.
