Aaron WEDGE Arrested Again – Break & Enter, Etc.

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a transient person with several criminal offences after OPP were contacted on the evening of December 29th.

On Thursday, December 29, 2022, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Huron County OPP received a report of a break, enter and mischief to the North Street United Church. Investigating officers learned that staff at the church had previously banned a transient male from the property due to his behaviour and non-compliance, however, the male returned and forced his way into the church and was found crawling through the first and second floor ceiling space. The male eventually fell through the drywall, causing damage, and was again removed from the property, at which point the OPP were called to attend. Officers located the suspect in Goderich shortly after, at which time he resisted arrest. The suspect was eventually handcuffed and transported to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton for processing.

As a result of the investigation, Huron County OPP has charged 32-year-old Aaron WEDGE of no fixed address with the following offences:

–      Break and Enter

–      Mischief Under $5,000

–      Resist Peace Officer

–      Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 4 counts

The accused was held for a bail hearing and later remanded into custody.
