(WEST PERTH, ON) – Another impaired driver has been taken off the roads, this time because of an observant police officer.
Just after 11:00 p.m., on November 27 2021, a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on general patrol on Perth Line 36, in the Municipality of West Perth, when they observed a vehicle that was driving in a concerning manner.
A traffic stop was conducted, and during the course of the investigation, the officer determined that the driver had consumed alcohol, and was impaired. The driver was arrested and brought to a local OPP operations centre for further testing
Mark VOCK, 41, of Woodstock, has been charged with:
– Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
– Operation while Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
