During the week of the 16 January 2017, to the 22 January 2017, there were 82 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.
There were four motor vehicle collisions, three were animal related.

Drug Charges
On the 16 January 2017 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jon Anderson received a break and enter call for service on Madawaska Crescent, Bonnechere Valley Twp. Subsequent to officer investigation, 21 yr. old Haley HOGAN of Peterborough has been charged with Possession of a Schedule ll Substance, Cannabis Marihuana, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited, section 2(1)(a)(i) of the Trespass to Property Act. A second 21 yr. old female Jacinta KINNEAR of Peterborough has been charged with Possession of a Schedule ll Substance, Cannabis Marihuana, section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Both accused were released on an Appearance Notice, Ontario Court of Justice, Killaloe.
Mischief
On the 16 January 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jon Anderson received a mischief call for service on John Street, Bonnechere Valley Twp. Police investigation revealed damage to an office window. This incident remains under investigation.
Break and Enter
On the 16 January 2017 at approximately 1:35 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Kyle Fabian received a break and enter call for service on Paugh Lake Road, Madawaska Valley Twp. A shed had been entered and a well pump, two propane heaters and a bag of dog food were stolen. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended to process the scene for evidence. This incident remains under investigation.
