(GUELPH, ON) – On January 26, 2017 at approximately 10:15 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer was watching northbound traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A woman driving a 2010 Toyota was observed at a speed well above the posted speed limit and was locked on radar at approximately 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
24-year-old Afra Naufer of Scarborough was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Court on February 15, 2017. Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
