Anthony BHOLA – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On Friday, February 10, 2017 an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a single vehicle in the ditch on Healey Road, west of Humber Station Road. The officer attended the scene and observed a red Toyota Corolla in the ditch.

Upon speaking to the male driver, the officer immediately detected a strong odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath. A demand was made of the driver to provide a sample of his breath into a roadside screening device, and after failing the roadside test; he was arrested and transported to the Caledon Detachment for further breath testing.

As a result of the investigation, Anthony BHOLA, 33 from Brampton, was charged with the offence of operating a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of alcohol.

The 90 day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on February 23, 2017.
