(Bancroft, ON) – On the 23 February 2017, in the late afternoon, an officer from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on patrol in Tudor-Cashel Township observed a male driver on Highway 62 failing to wear his seatbelt.
The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the motor vehicle and while speaking with the driver he determined that the male had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Dennis Genereaux, 42 years of Tudor-Cashel Township has been charged with, Driving with over 80mgs Alcohol in 100mls of Blood, Driving while under suspension, fail to properly wear seatbelt and Use plate not authorized for vehicle.
The accused was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 21, 2017.
