(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On March 10, 2017 at 5:31 pm, officers of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision in a parking lot on the 200 Block of Third Street East in the Town of Fort Frances.
During the investigation, the driver, John DUSTIN, age 49 years of Fort Frances, was arrested and transported to OPP Detachment for breath tests. The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory 7 days. The driver was subsequently charged with,
-Driving with More than 80mgs. of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253 (1)(a) of the Criminal Code
-Having Over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
He will appear in Fort Frances Provincial Court on April 25, 2017 to answer to the charge.
