(LAKESHORE, ON) – On March 14, 2017 at approximately 4:45 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Essex County Road 42 east of Essex County Road 22 in Lakeshore, Ontario.
An orange International truck being operated as a snow plow for the County of Essex and a white International tractor trailer collided head on, on the roadway.
The single occupant drivers of both vehicles were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Essex County Road 42 between Essex County Road 22 and Lakeshore Road 123 was closed for several hours but has since been reopened.
Essex Windsor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Lakeshore Fire Department also attended the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
